Good variety of food and drinks. Mort's has been a fixture of tarzana for many decades. They share space with Bea's bakery. The restaurant is visible from the street. It shares a parking lot with other establishments. Most deli items are available. The restaurant serves breakfast all day and does sandwiches and varied hot and cold dishes.

Sherrie is absolutely the most professional yet personable and caring person you will ever meet. I would wait forever just to get one of her tables always a smile, we leave feeling good. Lana and Gary always come over and speak. Owners who actually not only care about their business but the satisfaction of each customer and employee. I love the atmosphere, I read a post where someone mentioned dated. You know to much is already gone to remind us of the history of a Deli or Diner. Mort’s is clean and has an excellent rating. Why change anything. If it works, it works. The Bakery even when you think, I cannot eat another bite, will change your mind..

I love this place. It's so homey. The prices are reasonable. My grandson loves this one particular server Marie. The bus boys are sweet. Going back again and again

Great service and food. Other valley delis get the hype but it's not chaotic and noisy here.

10 stars for the Ruben!! The rye is delicious, loaded with meat! It was our first time here, and so I’m not sure if it’s just a lack of know-how in ordering, but the turkey sandwich only came with turkey and bread, no condiments. I added cheese and avocado, but there was no mayo or mustard and the man at the counter didn’t ask if I wanted to add anything. We took it to-go so I didn’t realize until we were opening the sandwiches that there was nothing else on it. Before leaving, the man at the counter did ask if we wanted sauce for the Ruben, and I’m glad he did, or we wouldn’t have had it for that either. Very friendly staff, quality meats and portions! The prices are higher than grocery store delis but that is perfectly fine with me for supporting small business over supermarket chains. Definitely recommend, but just ask what the sandwiches come with so you can customize it how you want ;)
